Sam Brett is Australasia’s ultimate socialite! We asked the Sydney based it girl to share her fav local hot spots with us; from her favourite restaurants, cafes and chill out zones…
Sam is a busy girl - if you didn’t know already, she’s living it up in Hollywood at the moment, blogging out her amazing travels and adventures as our very first Flossie Lifecaster. Want to find out what she’s been up to today? Just click here!
1: Jimmy Liks Restaurant
186 - 188 Victoria Street, Potts Point
The food is delectable, the cocktails are exquisite and you feel like you’re being a health nut with the Lemongrass martini! Plus the communal table makes you feel like you’re somewhere in Europe, plus the trendy crowd reminds you you’re in the heart of Sydney.
2: The Art Gallery of New South Wales
Art Gallery Road, The Domain, Sydney
The leading art gallery in NSW, this place is magical. While the latest exhibitions always manage to titillate the sense, the oldies are goodies, especially the Aussie stuff…
3: Milk Bar
Shop 4/175 Curlewis Street (via Gould St)
This gorgeous beach side store has an eclectic mix of all things designer clothing, plus a range of the store owner’s very own designer label Brooke Daniels! Always perfect to nab something for a sultry night out, this place is my favourite stopover for a Saturday afternoon splurge.
4: Bondi Markets
Campbell Parade, Bondi
Open only on Sundays, this place is the best to get those bargains and pure gems. Get there early though - things run out fast!
5: Max Brenner Chocolate Shop
437 Oxford St, Paddington
This has been a favourite of mine for many, many years. The perfect stopover after a long night out, or for an afternoon delight, I can’t get enough of their spicy hot chocolate, not to mention the frappes and their signature dish - the chocolate fondue made with the Max Brennar chocolate that you heat up yourself!
